curriculum choices, goal setting, record keeping, establishing

college. A 75+ page notebook with sample and blank transcript forms,
suggested resources and revelant internet sites is included. Please
bring a three ring binder in which to place the resource packet.

Getting Ready For High School and Beyond Teen Workshop

Designed specifically for you, the high school student and your parents. You
will be encouraged to take more responsibility for your education by
being an active partner with your parents, developing a creative core
curriculum, and establishing your course as a team.
Home schooling through high school is a cooperative effort that takes
discussion, thoroughness, and planning to achieve your goals. A
resource packet will be given to each teen.
This is an interactive session between Barbara and the teens.
The teens sit up front and the parents sit quietly in the back.
Parents are welcome and invited to ask questions during the last 30 minutes of the workshop.
Cost is $20 per teen. Advance registration is required and must be
postmarked one week before the event. Each teen must have a parent
attending or be registered with another adult. Parents attend free of
charge.
